I would like to inform you that a new version of the plugin is now available. Upon installing this latest update, you will gain access to an enhanced feature: the ability to disable the table of contents (TOC) on specific pages. This option can be found on the respective page itself.
If you wish to make use of this functionality, you can disable the TOC option for that particular page. By doing so, the plugin will cease to generate IDs or anchor text for each heading on that specific page. To provide visual guidance, I have attached a screenshot for your reference.

@boomdevs It’s not practical to edit all of my docs pages just to check that option…The plugin is applying on the docs post type even though the only post type i checked was “posts”.

It has it’s own table of contents functionality. Your plugin is conflicting with it and preventing the table of contents created by BetterDocs from working.
