Compatibility issues with jQuery Tools

Just adding jquery.tools.min.js to the pages causes a page with Accordion to freeze — it displays closed Accordions, but they won’t open. (I wanted to add jQuery Tooltips, but found that, even just adding the reference to http://cdn.jquerytools.org/1.2.6/full/jquery.tools.min.js, caused issues).
