Compatibility problem with Custom Post Widget plugin

Is there a way to modify your code to work with the Custom Post Widget (CPW). The Floating Social Bar (FSB) plugin displays icons within CPW widgets in the Single Post view.

The CPW plugin author suggests that you modify your plugin to work well with the Content Filter. Here is a tutorial from Pippin’s Plugins blog: Playing Nice with the “the_content” Filter
