Hi, I started testing your great plugin – using the google news sitemap. But there seems to be a problem if a site runs in different languages? I had an article in one language published and it showed up just fine in the news sitemap, but once its translated version (using WPML and domain matching) was published, the sitemap switched to the translation and now only shows the translation.

    thanks for advising, K

  • Hi, I try to keep the plugin compatible with WPML but it’s difficult because that plugin changes a lot. Also, the domain matching option was not tested so that might be playing a role here too. I’ll try to re-test with the latest version of WPML when I can (will have to renew my dev account with them) but cannot promise anything soon.

One possibility: try adding the alternative (german) domain name in the field Allowed domains on your Settings > Reading admin page.

Hi @ravanh, your feedback is highly appreciated! I already tested the “allowed domains” and added the english version (german is original), but reading your answer, you triggered the idea that I could try to do it the other way round… and guess what: it works! 🙂 So I will solve this thread as resolved. thanks!
