    I haven’t personally tested Smush, and we haven’t received any reports of issues from our users yet.

    However, we recommend Modern Image Formats. It’s a free plugin developed by the WordPress Performance team that is fully compatible with Advanced Media Offloader. It optimizes images by converting them to WebP or AVIF automatically.
