• We’ve installed Seamless Donations onto a WordPress site. It sends information successfully to PayPal and PayPal tries to send the information to Mailchimp to add to our Mailchimp database. However, Mailchimp blocks and disconnects from PayPal so the information does not make it to the Mailchimp database. After 8 hours of tech support with Mailchimp, they determined that there is a problem with Seamless donations being in the loop. PayPal and Mailchimp work fine if Seamless donations is not the form used to transfer the donation information.

Do you know of any fixes so that Seamless Donations, PayPal, and Mailchimp all work together seamlessly? ; )

Not really. I’m not sure how MailChimp gets its data, but all Seamless Donations does is use the PayPal API to send a request. There’s nothing in PayPal’s docs for MailChimp interaction (and frankly, PayPal’s docs are out of date anyway, but that’s a whole different story).

My guess is that you’re crossing the beams in some way.
