compatibility with plugin Advanced Post List

    I’m using a shortcode plugin https://nl.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/advanced-post-list/ to make a custom cat-page. When the cat. is toggled “don’t show on blog page” the posts also not shown on the custom page. When I switch this off, the category posts do show.

    Is this a bug?

    WordPress version: 5.2.2
    Theme: Cubic is version 1.0.7
    Number of categories is: 3

    Not sure as I’m not familiar with the other plugin you mentioned. However, my plugin intercepts standard calls so it would be easy for themes or plugins to do something custom and bypass my plugin.
