compatibility with wordpress

    Good Day!

    I have a version of the qTranslate-X 3.4.6.8 plug-in installed on my site. Officially stated that this version is not tested with the version of wordpress that I use. The site has problems with this. In particular, plugins, wordpress, are not updated.
    The plugin is very convenient, it perfectly supported multilingual, but now creates problems on the site.
    Tell me, when is compatibility with the latest versions of wordpress expected? Or what would you advise as an alternative? For me, it’s very important multilanguage on the site. Of those alternatives that I’ve considered, everyone is quite difficult to transition, especially when the site is running.
