Compatibility with WordPress user data tools?

Is there any word on when VFB may become compatible with the user data tools introduced with WordPress 4.9.6? Users not being able to retrieve form submissions with those tools is a headache, and is really counter-intuitive — why shouldn’t the tool be able to retrieve data from the website database?

Will that compatibility be added at some point? Its omission is a big lapse in an otherwise superb form management tool that I’d love to continue to use.
