    I hope this message finds you in good spirits. I am writing to inquire about the compatibility of this plugin with the latest WordPress 6.9 update. If it is not currently compatible, could you please provide an estimated timeline for when a compatible update might be released?     Hi Eric

    We’re being kept busy with other projects at the moment, but we’re still supporting the plugin, keeping an eye on things, and planning for future updates.

    Right now, our development efforts are focused elsewhere — since Regenerate Thumbnails is maintained by Automattic, we have a number of apps and projects in our wheelhouse, and we need to prioritize where our work is most urgently needed.

    That said, we ❤️ Regenerate Thumbnails and don’t have any plans to abandon it.

    Dear @thabotswana
    With the release of WordPress 7, an update has become even more urgent. I think – if you were to make this plugin a paid product, would your priorities perhaps shift ;-)? After all, plugins that lack updates are quickly discarded, and that would be a real shame! Thank you in advance for your time and your response.

    Thanks for bringing this up with us. The plugin should still function on WordPress 7, even if we don’t label it as compatible as yet. Are you running into any issues or errors?
