WordPress v5.2.5 was released on 12/12/19:
Version 5.2.5
I’d try WooCommerce v3.9.3 released on 27/02/20. Its likely that was working with it. The changelog doesn’t tell us which WP is needed for which WC.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/master/changelog.txt
You can get that here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce/advanced/
select 3.9.3 from the dropdown at the bottom of the page and click download.
If you have already installed a later version of WooCommerce it may have made changes to the database. There’s no way I know of to wind back the database version, so if your install doesn’t work, you may need to drop the WooCommerce tables from the database before installing v5.2.5. The old version will make the tables needed at the time. If you have products you should back them up first and import them afterwards.
Instead you could try a second fresh install in a subdirectory:
Giving WordPress Its Own Directory
then if it doesn’t work out you still have your current site.
This is not going to be easy. If you succeed, you’ll be trapped in using old versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. A better way forward might be to hire a dev and get your must-keep plugins updated.
