Is this plugin compatible with the new events calendar 3.9? I am not able to update to the events calendar 3.9 and I am thinking that it is a compatibility issue with additional plugins like the category colors or filter bar.

The filter bar plugin is from Modern Tribe so it must be compatible.

I can assure you that the Category Colors plugin is compatible with the most recent versions of both The Events Calemdar and Events Calendar Pro.
