Avada has a short code [testimonials] as well, so when I create a page and add your short code, there is an obvious conflict. But I saw on your changelog that the plugin is compatible with Avada. So I’m confused on how to set this up. I want a testimonials page that displays all, and then to use widgets on various pages.

    Hey there!

If you go to our plugin’s Basic settings tab and scroll down to the Advanced settings section, you’ll see options that allow you to reset our shortcodes to ones of your choosing. For example, you could change our [testimonials] shortcode to [testimonials_list] or [better_testimonials] and that will avoid the conflict you are describing with Avada.

    I hope that helps!

    All the best,
    Richard

There isn’t a “Basic” tab in my version 3.2.0. The only reference I can see to your naming convention is under “Post Type” where it references the “Archive Page URL” and the “Testimonial Page URL” but I don’t see anything under Settings about renaming the shortcode itself.

    Hey Vick!

I’m referring to our plugin’s options, not the Avada options.

On you admin screen, scroll down to Easy Testimonial Settings (in the left hand bar) and go from there.

    All the best,
    Richard

I’m REALLY sorry but I was using a different testimonials plugin and posted in the wrong place. But now that I know it’s so easy to change shortcode names with yours I might switch!
