Hey John, thanks for using Surge!
If the contact form simply outputs the default anonymous nonce, then you’ll be fine with Surge. Nonces change every 12 hours and are valid for up to 24 hours. Surge invalidates cached entries that are older than 10 minutes by default, so you should never see an expired nonce.
Currently Surge does not pre-load or pre-build caches. Everything is done on-demand.
Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!

Great, thanks for this.
I don’t really know what sort of nonce are those but they are from Frominator.
What do you mean exactly by “on-demand”? That static pages are only created when someone visits a given page?
It’s worth testing, but my guess is that they’ll work just fine.
Yes, cached entries are only generated when somebody visits a page, and is invalidated when the page changes.

OK, but what happens with low traffic sites?
The first visitor is penalized and the following are fine – is that correct?
Yes, that is correct, though in practice it doesn’t happen all that often, as a lot of the pages are often crawled by search engines and other bots.
