Compatible with “Short Pixel Image Optimiser plugin”?

    Great, thank you for your reply. Does this mean your plugin re-names both the back up files and the compressed optimised files simultaneously?

    Hi,

    You need to ask ShortPixel for more details, but the backup files I don’t think it does. It depends on how they did it. In fact, support was added some time ago by ShortPixel I believe. Please ask them on their forums, and then maybe you can mention here if they support it? 🙂

    Hi Jordy,
    Thanks for your response. Short Pixel advises against using image modifying plugins along with short pixel optimisation plugin. I tested it myself and your plugin renames the optimised (compressed) image but not the back up image file. The images do retain the optimisation but are no longer linked to the back up. Which means you no longer have the option to restore the back up file.
