Compatible with wordpress 5.8?

    I have just purchased the pro version of this plugin but it seems very buggy. Is this compatible with WordPres 5.8? If not, is there an ETA?

    1st bug: After changing the colour of the category button texts in the settings menu, once I press the “save” button i am hit with “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”

    2nd bug:
    I am unable to edit/save/remove/add any new categories, i am stuck with the default category 1, 2 and 3.

    Any help please?

    Wordpress version: 5.8
    Plugin version: 9.0.0

    After downgrading to version 5.7.2, i still receive “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” when trying to change the colour of the hover category button.
