@christinahills, can you tell me where I can find update of the plugin compatible with wordpress 6.9?
Bacause here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/health-check/ the only thing I see is this: “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.”
@cocom there is no update to the plugin. That is what we are asking for. For them to do an update so that it’s not outdated and does not show a vulnerability anymore.
The compatibility information is not a vulnerability. It serves as information for users as to whether the respective plugin is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. It is based solely on the WP-version number specified in the main plugin file itself and is not based on actual testing with the latest WordPress version. In the case of this plugin, however, in my experience, this information can be ignored.
Information about current changes to the plugin can be found at any time on GitHub, where you can also report any issues you find yourself: https://github.com/WordPress/health-check – there have been a few adjustments on its code in recent weeks that have not yet made it into a release.
@threadi thank you for that update. I look forward to when the plugin gets updated to a new release.
Appreciate that you took the time to reply here 🙂
Hello, Health Check & Troubleshooting is such a great tool and I always receive warnings when updating, that your plugin is not testet with WordPress 6.9. Automatic updates are not available for this plugin, but as I see, you did not update it for two years. I would be great, if you you could remove the vulnerability and test it with WordPress 6.9. Thank you so much!

@threadi yes it would be great !!!
I read the github description and it says the following:
This plugin has been deprecated, and its core features included in WordPress since version 5.2
Troubleshooting Mode, and Site Health Tools have been moved to their own canonical plugins.
Troubleshooting – Site Health Tools
Kind regards.
