The question is the title! I can see that currently we’re tested up to 6.9.4, but want to make sure Edit Flow will work with 7.0 prior to the “Big Update”. Obviously I’ll be holding off core update until I’ve checked all plugins…

    Hi Iain,

Thanks for checking in about WordPress 7.0 compatibility.

Edit Flow runs its automated test suite against WordPress trunk (currently 7.0 and beyond) on every change, and we’re not aware of any compatibility issues with 7.0. The current release (0.10.4) is marked as tested up to 6.9, simply because that was the latest stable release when it shipped.

Our next release, 0.11.0, will be formally tested against and marked as compatible with WordPress 7.0, so the “Tested up to” value on the plugin page will catch up shortly.

In the meantime you should be fine running 0.10.4 on 7.0. If you do spot anything unexpected, please let us know here with the details and we’ll take a look.

Much obliged @garyj – I have run a test update on a staging server and everything seemed alright with a bit of a play, but I’d rather be sure before updating our live server. I’m holding off on WP7.01 (or similar initial update) before taking the jump, so I’d assume by that time you’ll have the “certified” update out 🙂
