Compile statistics Compilant + Burst ?

    Hello everyone,

    I want to use Burst to analyze my website but I have a question… I want to be in order with the GDPR, my site being mainly intended for France. In the Compilanz Cookies settings, there is this menu:

    Do you compile statistics of this website?
    Oui, et le gestionnaire de balises Google déclenche ce script
    Oui, et le gestionnaire de balises Matomo déclenche ce script
    Oui, avec Google Analytics
    Oui, avec Matomo
    Oui, avec Clicky
    Oui, avec Yandex
    Oui, avec Clarity
    Oui, mais pas avec l’un des services ci-dessus.
    Non

    There is no Burst in the list… Do I have to check “NO”?

    Hi @bizbis,

    You can check “Oui, mais pas avec l’un des services ci-dessus.” and then the setup should be fine!

    And on the next window, I have to say «YES » when they ask me if I want to request consent for statistics?

    Hi @bizbis,

    Burst Statistics only uses first-party cookies and also offers a cookieless tracking option. All data is anonymous, so it aligns with CNIL’s exemption for essential analytics, meaning consent shouldn’t be required. So you can answer “No”.

    I’m not a lawyer, so for full legal certainty, consulting a privacy expert is always a good idea.
