• After upgrading to 2.9.2 and doing an autoupgrade of one of the plugins everything went blank. No error messages, nothing. I deleted all wp files on the server and uploaded the new ones again. Still blank.

    Imported a backup sql dump I had from just before upgrading. Still blank.

    Created a local server and import sql dump and try it there. With backed up files or complete new wordpress files. Still blank.

    Nothing seems to work. I know it’s not the server, because when I install a complete new wp install, everything works fine.

    I also tried setting php errors display to ALL and display to on. Nothing, still blank.

    I know this question is pretty vague, but after hours of looking at blank pages being returned I’m getting pretty desperate

    After finding another thread here with the advice of adding
    define(‘WP_DEBUG’, TRUE);
    to my config file, I found out the problem was a faulty akismet plugin. Apparently it was corrupt or something. I could not have imagined that that would lead to such a blank screen.
