Completely changed plugin with no warning

WP User Avatar was a great simple plugin. It had one job and did it well. I had installed on several client sites. Then one day, without warning, the company updated and completely changed the plugin into a membership plugin, with no warning or notice to its users. Suddenly I am being asked to create pages for members on the websites. No thanks. Poor move by the company. Would have been better off just keep their original plugin and create a totally new Membership plugin rather than replace the one users had on their website. Makes em think they were trying to use the current “active sites” and ratings from the other plugin to launch the new one. That’s wrong and makes me never want to even try Profile Press now.
