    I would like step-by-step instructions how to completely wipe out everything on my site so I can start over from zero and make a new installation of WordPress;

    CGI-bin/
    wp-admin/
    wp-content/
    wp-includes/

    delete all files in /
    delete directories wp-admin/, wp-content/, wp-includes/

    and find and delete the associated database.
