Hello,
Does any one know a plugin that can help to create some kind of a “standard products components” for products at WP-WooCommerce?
For example: 1) For those who selling a cars, it would be very useful to create a catalogue-list of a standard winter tires which are offered at their store, with many parameters that can be taken from already existing products attributes (like raduis, hight, etc); 2) For those who selling a computers, it would be very useful to create a catalogue-list of a standard videocards/hdd’s/ssd’s/etc which are offered at their store, with many parameters that can be taken from already existing products attributes (3D chip, memory amount, length, etc).
So I want to:
A) to simplify new products creation be using “pre-created standard products components”;
B) to give users-buyers possibility to chose at product page one of many predefined “products components” which can be a very variety.Does any one know plugin for this purpose? Or maybe someone can make it?

But… I cant find “Composite Products” plugin online demo. 🙁 Does it have a standalone database table for store all components? What parameters (fields) have this table? Or your plugin works only as more functional backend/frontend for a standard WooC method of creating “Configurable Products”? At this video guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1wLau82i3No this plugin looks more similar to plugins like “Accessories” that also compose many products at one branch – it have a very powerful functions but too overloaded for my tasks. Also for a fast and easy investigating-revisioning I just want to have a one table with all predefined components. So, maybe you can just add to your “Composite Products” plugin one additional standalone table with list of all “Products used as Components” or at whole Products table-list adds a new parameter for filtering – “This is not a products, but its a Component”. And maybe add an attribute for different groups of products and their components (dresses, cars, PC’s, etc).
But, honestly, if you look to most online retailer shops with possibility to customize buying products as Lenovo, Dell, HP, etc online shops – you will see, that all PC options are definitely not so overloaded as your “Composite Products”! All of them have 1-2 variable parameters and not much than one sentence of text – so most enormous functions of standard WooC products functions-parameters – for components just never used, dont needs! Also “WooC Composite Products” and “YITH WooCommerce Composite Products” require too many actions for adding a components to a products.
For this reason I ask for more simple plugin with just one table “Components” where can be created much more simple records based on already existed “Attributes” with a few new fields like: Component Name (one stroke), chosen existed Products Groups, chosen existed Attributes, Active/Passive flag (to hide old outdated records from Components List at a New Product adding), maybe also a price.
At Product page there are must be only a simple table with 1-2 fields for adding a components and maybe price for recalculation (like +$15).
But at some cases those Components will be not related to the process of buying or equipment the order or changing price etc, but only to speed up the entry of detailed technical information about tons of products! For example identical VGAs at 300 PC, etc – so only as a predefined hard-set additional technical information!
Overall I need a much more simple (but more comfortable and fast to use) plugin than both “Composite Products” plugins!
