Composite product total missing currency code

It looks like there is some incompatibility with Composite Products. See the composite product total price which is calculated and displayed just before add to cart. That price is missing the currency code. Also, that price amount doesn’t always seem to get updated by AJAX on page load – sometimes the total is an amount from a different currency, perhaps a cached amount. Variable products work correctly
