• I am interested in purchasing this plugin but it must be able to set up compound services, which are several steps including idle time. For example Wash and color may require a service for hair wash, an hour gap when the asssstant is not really scheduled, and then a service for coloring.

And different assistants may perform different parts of the service. One for washing and one for coloring.

    Thank you

    Hi,

I’ve done that. I was hoping to use this plugin so I started adding staff, services, and more. It’s the result of playing around where I could not figure out how to set services which have multiple steps (or secondary services) associated. Ironically, I think you have the structure in place to make this capability. But this is a big item for me and it does not seem like something you feel would help your plugin. Your plugin is very good by the way, it’s just that I need to be able to set up a compound service with multiple steps, each step could be a different staff member.

I wish you well in your endeavor with this plugin. It’s a great start. Unfortunately, I will not be purchasing it.

    Take care,
    Carl

No. I can’t believe their response is “install the free plug-in”. As if I didn’t do that already. Clearly not helping solve the core question.

Sadly, I have tried several plug-ins. I will state those plug-ins were in a price range that is affordable for a small salon. Noone does this well.

Bookly has a plugin to their plugin for compound services. The demo was weak but through the demo and then contacting them, the plugin does not work from an admin point. Only online bookings. i.e. my stylists cannot use this plugin on the back end to add a compound service. At this point our main focus is an online scheduler that our stylists can use – not the end customer. But if you want compound services that your customers can schedule directly, it may be worth a test. It will cost you more money. I have learned that Bookly adds new features as addons with more payments required – not as enhancements to the product itself.
