The compression with bz2 does not work, although the bz2 module is available. This is the messgage in the mail I get:

1. Versuche, Backup zu erstellen …
[05-Mar-2016 03:11:37] Komprimiere Dateien als TarBz2. Bitte habe einen Moment Geduld.
[05-Mar-2016 03:12:20] FEHLER: Signal "SIGXFSZ" wurde an das Script geschickt!
```
Btw., the same with tar.gz (TarGz).

Nothing of the backup will be created. What could be the reason?

I think you are hosting on Strato. Strato only allows creations of files with a maximum size of 64MB with a PHP programm. That is why it will be aborded.

Aha. Yes, it is Strato 🙁 making trouble. Which entry of configuration causes the limitation? I cannot see a “64M” value with phpinfo().

That is a limitation Strato do and you can not see it or change it in a configuration.
