@maurotto80
I’m sorry to hear that your sitemap is experiencing some issues. Could you please show us some example URLs linking to the Japanese site; actually where this issue occurring so that we can take a look at them?
Hi
thanks for answer, so exactly from my google search console, opening the indexed pages takes me back to the japanese page, but if i copy the link in the address bar it take me back to the site with a 404 response. but since google search doesn’t read the 404 response, the pages are indexed and entered in the search.
Hello @maurotto80
Sadly, the issue you’ve described is unclear. If you cannot open a list of your indexed pages in the Google Search Console, I’d recommend contacting Google Search Central Help Community, as it’s unrelated to your use of the Yoast SEO plugin.
If you’re referring to your sitemap, you currently aren’t using the Yoast-generated XML sitemap feature. You can find XML Sitemap in your WordPress > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site Features > APIs. Scroll down to XML Sitemaps to enable it and ‘Save Changes’.
Next, if you have a third-party sitemap plugin, I higly recommend disabling such to avoid potential conflicts.
Do let us know how it goes.
I’m sorry, but when I click on look sitemap XML from Yoast i redirect on homepage.

The Yoast-generated XML sitemap is https://www.ilcamiciaionapoli.it/sitemap_index.xml and it loads fine without any redirect. See screenshot.
