Conditional fields

I know that I can create conditions for complete invoices however I would like to ask that you consider adding the ability to show/hide fields (or text, etc.) with the same conditionals.
I have fields that are shown/hidden by selecting options from a drop-down during check out. I would like to print those fields on the invoice. I could create separate versions of the invoice with the applicable fields but then I have to select the right invoice for printing and sending to the customer (and also keep all the invoices identically formatted if I make any changes).
