Conditional fields all visible on load, only work after selection

Hello! I set up a select field with three options. For each choice, I configured a conditional field that should only appear when that specific option is selected from the dropdown. However, all three fields appear immediately by default. When I select an option, it works correctly and only the corresponding conditional field is shown.
The issue occurs both with “show if value equals =” and “hide if value is not equal to =”.
