Conditional Fields Shortcodes Not Working in PDF (Previously Working)
-
Hello Support Team,
I am currently using the following plugins together:
- Contact Form 7
- Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7
- Send PDF for Contact Form 7
I am facing an issue where conditional shortcodes are not being processed in the generated PDF.Issue Details:
The following shortcodes are not working in the PDF template:
[hide-kosten-an-arbeitgeber]…[/hide-kosten-an-arbeitgeber]
[hide-kosten-an-schulungstraeger]…[/hide-kosten-an-schulungstraeger]
[hide-kosten-an-mich]…[/hide-kosten-an-mich]
[hide-erteilung]…[/hide-erteilung]
[hide-aktualisierung]…[/hide-aktualisierung]Additionally, even conditional logic using:
[if kosten-an-arbeitgeber] … [/if]
is not working.Important Note:
This functionality was working previously, but it has stopped working recently (possibly after a plugin update). What I Tested:
- Verified field names are correct
- Tested raw field output → working
- Tried using [_mail_body] → not working
- Tried shortcode parsing fixes → no success
Expected Behavior:
Conditional content should be shown/hidden in the generated PDF based on selected form options.Actual Behavior:
All conditional shortcodes are ignored, and content is either always shown or not processed at all.
Could you please confirm:
- Does the PDF plugin support Conditional Fields shortcodes (
[hide-*]or[if])? - Was there any recent change that removed shortcode parsing support?
- Is there a recommended way to handle conditional content inside PDF templates?
