Conditional logic doesn’t work for fields within Group field

    Hello,

    I’m using both ACF (5.12.2) and ACF Extended (0.8.8.7) plugins and there seems to be a conflict between the two when I use conditional logic for certain fields. I’ve tried disabling ACF Extended and everything worked fine.

    To replicate my logic, do the following:

    – Create group field course and Tab field for another group field pdf.
    – Group field pdf contains 3 fields: file (File), title (Text), description (Text). Text fields title and description are required and should render only if file is selected (Has any value).

    The problem – fields title and description are not rendering even file was selected. I’ve noticed that if I add another text field and change condition for fields to render if that new text field has value, it works.

    So I assume the problem is with field of type File.

    Thanks for the feedback!

    I just tested it on a Blank WP Install with ACF Pro & ACF Extended, and it works fine on my end.

    I would recommend to setup a clean WP install with ACF Pro and ACF Extended only and make the some test on it. If you prefer to keep your installation, then try to disable all your plugins one-by-one (at the exception of ACF Pro & ACF Extended) until you find which one cause the issue.

    If the problem persists, I would suggest to also switch to the native WP Twenty Twenty Two theme, just to make sure you don’t have any custom code in your theme that would break the feature.
