    Most often the problem is that another plugin loads an unneeded script on the sidebar editor screen, or that it registers an outdated version of a library that Content Aware Sidebars depends on (such as backbone.js or select2). This can lead to fatal errors in JavaScript, which renders the sidebar editor unusable.

    Can you try to deactivate your other plugins and see if the problem persists?
