Hi @mariettej,
Thank you for reaching out to us! Have you recently updated your plugin to version 4.0.9? If so, this might be a plugin issue, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
In the meantime, we recommend rolling back to the previous version while we are finalizing the next version release to address the conditional logic issues.
Thank you again for your patience and support.
Kind Regards,
Mej, Widget Options Team
OK, thanks.
Do you have a link to the previous version? Whilst I have backed up, I would prefer to reinstall rather than revert to backed up plugins and database and risk overwriting something.
Hi @mariettej,
Regrettably, sharing a modified or unofficial plugin file link would violate the terms and policies of the WordPress support threads. We recommend using the WP Rollback plugin, which may help you roll back your plugin version. You can find it here: WP Rollback Plugin.
We hope this solution helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Mej, Widget Options Team
Just to say that the repeated PHP errors I contacted you about back in Noember have also re-appeared (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/repeated-php-errors-since-update-to-4-0-7/)
Like this (seemingly several times a second):
[21-Jan-2025 11:33:39 UTC] PHP Warning: preg_match(): Unknown modifier ‘/’ in /xxx/wp-content/plugins/widget-options/includes/extras.php on line 599
Hopefully you will be fixing this too?
And do you have an ETA for the update?
thanks

Thanks for working on a fix, but isn’t it a bit of a worry that several errors seem to have been re-introduced in the latest update?
Our team is actively addressing these issues, and a patch will be included in the next version.
We’re also reviewing our processes to prevent such occurrences in future updates. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
Hi @mariettej,
We apologize for the wait. We’ve released a new update that fixes the Conditional Logic issues. Please update to the latest version at your earliest convenience to apply the fix.
Thank you for your continued support!
