Hello, I have the free version of Forminator. In a contact form I have a drop-down list for different reasons for contact. The form default recipients are set on the form, but I am trying to create a condition where if someone selected (for example” NEWS TIP from the drop-down, that the email would get redirected to some one else than the default recipients. In the form, I chose “email recipients” and then “add New email notification”, then clicked on the “recipients” tab, then “Email routing”, I added the new email address and then set routing condition to be “reason for contact” IS “News Tip”.

This did send the email to the new recipient, but it also sent it to the forms’ default recipients. Is there a way around this, so the “News Tip” option only send to the new recipients?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @abu117

    Hope you’re doing well today!

I was able to make a test on my lab environment but could not replicate the issue that you are noticing. It looks like you might have the Default Email notification still present on the Forminator form.

Could you please confirm if you have more than 1 email notifications added in the Forminator >> Form >> Edit form >> Email Notifications, please refer to the screenshot here: https://monosnap.com/file/S0vURU356tIg08tBGx55Ku21ajIHqr

If you have it, could you please remove that and only keep the one where you have enabled email routing?

If it is not present already, in that case we will need to take a closer look at your form settings, for that could you please share the form export with us so that we can take a closer look? Please feel free to remove any sensitive information in the form.

    To share the form export
    – Navigate to the “Forminator -> Forms” page in your site’s back-end
    – click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – select “Export” option
    – copy given export code and paste it at https://pastebin.com
    – include link to that paste in your response below.

Note: this export will not include any data that is already submitted – they’ll stay safely on your site and we don’t need them anyway.

    Kind Regards,
    Saurabh
