I was wondering if there is something in the works to fix the current problem im having with the conditional logic?

What happens is if I add any elements to the form all the conditional logic gets stripped out… this isn’t a big deal, but I am worried that if it happens without me changing anything that it’d cause alot of problems for users.

I have many fields set to hide unless a number is selected.

    Example:
We are using it for signing kids up for after care/private schooling.

They pick the number of kids from a drop down 1-5 kids.

If they pick one, then only one section of information is available for them to fill in that kids info.

if they pick two then 2 sections are available for them to fill in for each kid. Ect…

When it breaks it shows all 5 sections to fill in… Which is no good since most people only sign up one or two kids.

    Hope thats not too confusing.
    Thanks!

Wait, I also found that the conditional tags get removed if I reopen the form builder as well…

Not a huge deal, but not real fun to deal with when you have 9 fields that have conditionals on them.

That is a big deal. I’ll take a look and sort it out.

    I’m having trouble replicating this.
What browser are you using and which version of caldera forms are you running?

    Thread Starter Hblamo

    (@hblamo)

    Chrome (latest)
    Caldera (latest, just updated yesterday)

    Thread Starter Hblamo

    (@hblamo)

    Chrome Version 36.0.1985.125
    Caldera Version 1.0.8

Not sure if that helps, but there is the technical details.
I can also give you a list of active plugins if that would help.

Also I’m running a mac, shouldn’t change much, but it would effect the chrome I suppose if something was up with that.

is there a possible way I can get access details to the site to take a look? I’m finding it hard to replicate on my setup.

I could probably set you up with a temp account. The site has to be live by tonight so there’s a limited amount of time.

How’s the best way to send you the login info?

can email me – [email protected]

if it needs to be live – maybe setup a demo form somewhere as not to affect a live one?
