Conditional Placed Holder coding

I have correctly setup my functions file to allow for custom attributes to be displayed.

In looking at https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/conditional-place-holder-for-custom-attribute/ where the user created a custom attribute like this #_ATT{key name}{select|option1|option2}

I am wondering how do I code that placeholder so if the answer is option1 there is a result uniquely different from option2, and select shows nothing.
