    Hi there,

is there a possibility to have conditional tags within MC4WP? Scenario:

    1. user lands on popup form
    2. able to enlist in several lists / audiences: A, B, C
    3. If A is chosen, tag user with Tag 1, if B then Tag 2, if 3 then Tag 3.

Is something like this possible? Couldn’t find the right option.

    Looking forward to your thoughts.

    Hey @taschmahal,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

This might require custom code that is beyond the scope of our support.

May I know why you want to add a tag if you also want users to subscribe to different lists? Just having them in a different list should be good enough to differentiate between them.

    Hi @hchouhan,

Thank you for your reply. It’s for a non profit I’m doing the website for. They don’t really use audiences and send their newsletters based on tags only. What they’d really need is a feature for users to assign certain tags to them. Eg. woman rights, water crisis etc.

I know this could be solved through audiences, but unfortunately that’s not how they use Mailchimp :/

If you use Interest groups (not audiences) you can do this without or with less custom code.

If you want o do it with tags, as Harish said you will need to write your own custom code and we will not be able to help you writing that.

    Kind regards
