Hi @ozil23
What you’re describing here seems to be default WooCommerce variations logic, so I’m not sure why you’d need our plugin? π
Yes but If I use the default woocommerce variations it would take a forever to get all the variations right.
Also Im already using your plugin with these variationsmaterial β wool , linen , naples
colours β red ,blue , black , silver , brown , white and many more
extra options β no drawers , 2 drawerssome material dont have all colours like
wool β red , white
linen β red , blue , black and many more
naples β silverJust need to know how can I do this
It can be done with conditional rules on the fields.
You can create 3 color options (probably select lists) and the correct dropdown can appear depending on what “material” is selected.
So I select the material field then click on the button Add new group rule then what do I do?
Hi @ozil23
If you click “add new rule group”, you see something similar to this: https://i.snipboard.io/B1HDWP.jpg
So you can define there WHEN this field should become visible. In the case of my screenshot above, this field will only become visible when the user has selected “option 1” for “Some field”.
So this is how you can show/hide fields depending on settings of other fields. So what you can do is: when “materials” value “wool” is selected, the display this field. “this field” would then be the dropdown with colors only available for the wool material.
yes I understand that but I think would be easier if I could send my backend login details so you can understand my dilemma
Can you tell me your email so you see for yourselfHi @ozil23
I’m sorry, but we can’t help with that kind of support for users of our free version. Thanks for understanding! You can always record a video so we can take a look.
some material dont have all colours like
wool β red , white
linen β red , blue , black and many more
naples β silverJust need to know how can I do this
So is there any solution even on the pro version of the plugin?
Hi @ozil23
I’m sorry but the video does not contain audio so I’m not sure what you’re doing in it but it looks like you have the correct idea? Just add conditions to display the correct “color” field depending on which material is selected. I’m not sure where you are stuck or perhaps I am missing something?
Just add conditions to display the correct βcolorβ field depending on which material is selected
Im stuck on this part if you could make a video to show how to do it

ozil23.
But you’ve showed it in your video so it looks like you know what to do. Add a new rule and select for which field + that field’s value it should apply. If I make a video, it would just look the same as your video :).
The fields I have are material and colours
So I click on the material fields and I have the following options wool linen etc
Then we have the conditionals how do I make the the option wool to show a specific colour?Fields
https://prnt.sc/udo3f6Options
https://prnt.sc/udo4e8Conditionals
https://prnt.sc/udo4ohIf you can show me a demo page of the pro version of the plugin that can make this happen I dont mind buying the pro version of the plugin
Follow these steps:
1) You have to duplicate the “colour” field for every “material” option. There is a button which easily allows you to duplicate a field: https://i.snipboard.io/4onvta.jpg
So you duplicate “colour” 5 times. In total you will have 6 “colour” fields (one for every “material”).
2) edit all “colour” fields. In the “options” setting of the field, you should remove the options that the “material” doesn’t need. So if you are editing the “colour” field for “wool”, you remove everything except red & white.
3) In the same color field as in step 2, you now go to “conditions” and add a rule. Select there “material” “value is equal to” “wool”.
Now this particular “colour” field with only options “red” and “white” will appear only when “wool” is selected.
Hope this helps.
Thanks for all the help but ih the future the options should be in the conditionals but still itΒ΄s a great plugin
