Confict with W3 Total Cache plugin

    Hi mate,

    There seems to be a conflict b/w Booking Activities v1.7.0 & W3 Total Cache plugin on the product page. Please have a look at the screenshot.

    This error goes away when I disable CDN module in the W3 Total Cache plugin settings or specifically remove plugin js files from the list of custom files hosted with CDN.

    I’ve already disabled javascript minification because that breaks the whole site.

    Can you please provide a solution to fix the issue. Also what’s the best way to minify/combine your plugin js & css files to improve the website performance?

    Hello,

    Cache plugins minifies, and concatenates javascript files into a single one, and loads it in the footer.
    Booking Activities uses minified js files too and load them in the footer. But, booking-activities/js/global-var.min.js is the only file that needs to be loaded in the header.

    If you can set an exception for this file, it should work, let me know if it does.

    Hi,

    It seems to be working after I added following two javascript files into the CDN list of exceptions.

    {plugins_dir}/booking-activities/js/woocommerce-frontend.min.js
{plugins_dir}/ba-display-pack/js/global-functions-waterfall.min.js

    I’ll really appreciate if you make your plugins compatible with cache plugins to further improve the website performance. Check your demo site performance.

    Hello,

    I have tested some cache plugins. Booking Activities is working fine with:
    – W3 Total Cache
    – WP Super Cache (with Autoptimize) (both now running on demo.booking-activities.fr)
    – Comet Cache
    – Cache Enabler -> Doesn’t work with “Cache Minification” on “HTML & Inline JS”. Choose either “HTML” or “Disabled”.

    You need to configure Booking Activities to load events “After page load” in Booking Activities > Settings > General > “When to load the events?” option. Else, the displayed availabilities won’t be up to date.

    I will try with a CDN (CloudFlare), and let you know the results.

    @blackhatwarrior Can you tell me how you found out that it was these two files that should be included in the list of exceptions?

    Hi mate,

    Thanks for putting all your efforts & time to make this awesome plugin even better.

    I no longer need to put those two files in the exceptions list because the recent updates from W3TC has fixed the issues.

    My site still breaks when Minification is enabled but I’m not sure if its because of your plugins. I currently have 54 active plugins which run my website.

    Thanks a lot for your feedback!

    You can try to use WP Super Cache + Autoptimize to make sure, since it is working on the demo website.

    If it still doesn’t work, indeed, you will have to deactivate your plugins and reactivate them one by one until you find the one in conflict (cf.: “Booking Activities doesn’t work as it should” here).

    hi,
    am using waterfall.js file for displaying images in grid format.but it doesnot work properly.is this any conflict issue.looking for your support.
