Ok, you need to reset the Post SMTP plugin and configure it again. In the meantime, let me test it with WordFence.

Weird, but normally this type of issue comes due to plugin conflict; if possible, try to deactivate plugins one by one and then check if you find any conflicting plugin then let me know.

I reconfigured the email account and the plugin. now is working as expected.
