    Hiya,

I’ve just installed Yoast and am trying to configure it. When I click on the Configuration Wizard button, I get a blank grey page that says “Go back to the Yoast SEO dashboard” on the top, and nothing else.

AFAIK my server details (as reported by another plugin I’m using, copied & pasted verbatim) are as follows:

    Operating System: WINNT
    PHP Version: 5.2.10
    Server Software: Microsoft-IIS/6.0
    MySQL: 5.0.37-community-nt-log
    PHP Safe Mode: No
    PHP Allow URL Fopen: Yes
    PHP Memory Limit: 256M
    PHP Max Post Size: 50M
    PHP Max Upload Filesize: 50M
PHP Max Script Execute Time: 256
    PHP EXIF Support: No
    PHP EXIF Version:
    PHP XML Support: Yes
    PHP CURL Support: Yes

Having looked at some earlier support requests I know there’s an issue with the wizard not working on IIS servers, but I wasn’t sure if mine is only and exactly related to that. Any help…?

    Cheers,
    Robaa

Our developers changed the way the wizard works to fix many of the original issues with the configuration wizard on IIS servers. Unfortunately, some users are still experiencing issues and we’re tracking the details in this GitHub issue. If you have a moment, please add your information to that issue.

For now, you can manually setup the plugin by enabling the advanced features. They can be enabled by following the steps here.

I’m having the same exact problem. I just get a blank page that says ‘Go back to the Yoast SEO dashboard.’ I’ve tried to open the configuration wizard in Mozilla and Chrome, same result.

I have but am having issues with communicating with support.

I also have the same problem but it looks like I can only send a support email if I am a premium member. How can I even tell if I want to use the service if I can’t use the free service?

Same here. Below are the errors in the console:

Why is that marked as solved?

It never works for me, no matter the browser type, or hosting server type?

    🙁
