    Hi,

    Thanks for the useful plugin.

I’m testing it out and noticed that the e-mail to the moderator for event approval as well as “event approved” e-mail to the submitter shows us as dbem_mail_sender_name.

Is there a way to configure this (as I think it may raise a flag for spam filters)? I can’t seem to find a setting for it.

    Thanks.

  • Hi,

    Glad you’re enjoying the plugin.

Do you mean that the sender name in emails is appearing as “dbem_mail_sender_name” when the email is sent?

Yes and there is no from e-mail. It leads to higher of chance of e-mails being marked as spam. Thanks.

I did check Events > Settings > E-mails tab but didn’t see any area where I can set the From sender info. There’s only a field for the administrator e-mail notification. I’m using the free version of this plugin.

Do you not see “Notification sender name” and “Notification sender email” under the Email Settings tab?

    Unfortunately no.

I am using the most current free version of the plugin and WordPress.

I have a multisite installation. The plugin is activated on a site-by-site basis. Is there something missing from my installation?

I see..I checked again and even though it’s enabled site-by-site, it needs to be configured on the Network admin settings. Thanks so much for your help.
