    Hi nuonis! Thank you for the suggestion, I did some research and unfortunately we are using an older Constant Contact API which does not allow us to send an automated welcome email…

    Are there any plans to update the API in the future? Just curious. 🙂

    Hi nuonis! We did look into using the current API, unfortunately it would have to be tied to an API account that would be limited to 10,000 free API calls a day. Keep in mind that is across all users of this plugin, so it would be quite easy to hit that limit. We did not want to turn this into a plugin with ads/links to cover any potential costs of using the new API. That is why we stuck to using the old API…

    Wow, thank you for the detailed response! That totally makes sense. Sounds like a good call using the old API. Glad to know the details so I can explain to the client. I hate Constant Contact anyway!
