Confirmation emails

    Hi,

    When a user subscribes via a subscription form created with this plugin to a Mailchimp list with the opt-in setting active, said user is subscribed automatically without a previous confirmation email. Is this the expected behavior? If I use the Mailchimp Form Builder generated code I DO get a confirmation email.

    Apparently, there’s no way (option, filter, etc…) to set the $settings[ 'send_confirm' ] variable in the add_to_list() function in the mailchimp_api.class.php to true anywhere.

    Hi @leemon,
    We are sorry for a delay. We have just released 2.0.5 version with the following line added:
    apply_filters('an_mc_default_subscription_status', 'subscribed');
    You can use this filter to change default status.

    We’ll add an option to plugin settings at back-end soon. Thank you for your feedback.
