Confirmation message without reloading page if possible.

    I updated my website early last year and the theme came with contact form 7 which was working fine then just stopped working out of the blue.

    So I switched back to Fast Secure Contact Form which I had been using for several years prior.

    Sorry if this is an obvious question but I cannot seem to work it out but with contact form 7 on my onepage site a confirmation (or error) message just appeared under the form after submit. No reloading of the page or redirect and the form still appeared.

    It was just a bit cleaner than the page reloading but I cannot seem to replicate that with FSCF. Is there a way to do the same thing.

    Help greatly appreciated.

    Hi fawkesblog2 try to disable the following under Plugins -> FS Contact Form -> Advanced -> Redirect Settings if it is enabled.

    Enable redirect after the message sends

    Thank you for that. It was disabled but the reason the page reloads is I have the ” Enable an HTML anchor tag on the form POST URL.” option checked so it comes back to the same spot on the page.

    I guess I would just like the contact form to still be there as well as the message sent notification.

    I can redirect to the same spot on the page and the form is there but then there is no message sent notification.

    I think it just looks nicer to have the form remain and the notification.
