Hello, I’m new to the forum and hoping you can help.

After updating various plugins and my theme yesterday (theme is Avada), I found that the site wasn’t loading. There was no error message… just a blank page instead of the homepage.

I disabled one plugin at a time and worked out that it was Events Manager. When it’s disabled and deleted, the site works fine.

I had Events Manager Pro and when I had tried to update it I got an error message to say it hadn’t unpacked. As it turned out, the pro subscription had expired.

I think this attempted update to the pro module may be the cause of the problem. I no longer need the pro element but do need Events Manager. When I’ve tried to re-install it, I get the same problem with the site not loading.

Any suggestions would be very welcome.

    Thanks,
    Jaki

  • Hi Jaki,

    Is Events Manager Pro deactivated?

Which version of Events Manager are you using?

Hi there and thanks for your reply.

I deactived and deleted both EMP and EM, and then reinstalled the latest version of EM, so that’s all that’s on the site at the minute.

I’ve had a friend take a look and he found a conflict between Pinpoint booking system and Events Manager. By disabling Pinpoint, EM is now working fine again.

So that’s solved for now. Thank you.

No problem; thanks for the update.
