conflict between plugin and sidebar
-
Hi,
A feW days ago you kindly gave me some additional code to ensure that the T/A plugin loaded after the page content so that the reviews showed below.
This worked perfectly until the recent update when the positioning reverted to the original. ie. With the T/A reviws showing above the page content. Thinking that the update had removed the additional coding I repced the code. T/A reviws now show correctly, below the content.
However the widget content from the sidebar has now positioned itself to the left and below the T/A reviws although the right plugin (empty) is still there.
The URL is http://69.195.124.109/~closdesg/le-chenin-gite/
and here is the code:
[That’s too much code to post here – please use a pastebin – see:

Hi
did you turn on the option for buffering in the settings page? It is not turned on by default your have to choose yes.I have not looked at the code yet but I guess its a good chance I’ve got a div problem which is causing the problem with the sidebar.
I’ll take a look tomorrow to see where the problem is.
thanks
KevinHi
I’ve just uploaded the plugin ono my test site and I can not replicate the problems you’ve stated.
I’ve checked all the divs for correct closure and I can not find any issues.
Looking at the web page you’ve posted above it looks like either the tripadvisor feed is not being called fully or there’s been a couple of tweaks to the plugin.
The tripadvisor score logo is not being displayed alongside the review and each review does not have a title. if you’ve adapted the plugin I would suggest just checking that you have the correct number of closing div tags for the number of divs being called.
I could not check the code you pasted as it was not accepted in the forum.
thanks
KevinRight Kevin,
I’ve reloaded tripadvisorsc and everything is now back in it’s place. But, sadly, Tripadvisor comments are also back at the top and I can no longer see the buffering option on settings!

BrianBonsoir Kevin,
Couldn’t find the buffering option because I re-uploaded the original file and not your latest, updated one. I realised what I had done, uploaded the update and activated the buffer. Now works perfectly. Thanks for reacting so quickly to the original positioning problem. – I’m impressed!
Hi
thanks for letting me know its ok now.
