• Hello,

    We are using this theme:https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/oceanwp/

I set “infinite scroll” in theme setting, pease check the screenshot:
    https://prnt.sc/tgvws3

The infinite scroll works well on Woocommerce archieves page.

But there are more than 5000 SKU products on our site, so I use Themify Filter Plugin to provide flexible filter for users, and I use this plugin:

since there is also a “infinite Scroll” in the plugin setting:

    https://prnt.sc/tgvyeo

So, in this case, the “Infinite Scroll” seems not work well, it always need refresh twice to load products by infinite Scroll, and you might like to check issue on our site URL.

I just suppose there are conflit between theme and plugin same function of infite scroll, what do you think please? If YES, is there anyway to use or EANBLE ONLY Theme infinite scroll and DISABLE plugin inifinte scroll please?

Or any alternative way would be great appreciated.

    Thanks in advanice.

It seems like the sidebar is too long. Please watch this video: https://share.getcloudapp.com/12uNddEb, infinite scroll seems to work, but you have to scroll all the way to the footer. And because there are a lot of products per page, it takes a bit of time to query. Try to use the load more button. It might be better for your visitors.

    Hi

    Thanks for reply.

It seems like the sidebar is too long.

Yes, I understand what you mean, and I just think that is really problem that you might like to fix. please refer to my following thoughts:

1# Usually, infinite scroll support loading post at the bottom of “POSTS”, but this filter plugin will only begin to load products at the bottom of “Page”.

Please check the screenshot to understand what I am thinking:

    http://prntscr.com/tjbrbb

2# It would be great if you could set the infinite loading to be triggered at the bottom of products loaded, but not at the bottom of page, because infinite loading should work by targeting the bottom of CONTENT loaded in the page, but not the bottom of page.

and you might like to check again at this url.

    What do you think please?

Thanks and have a nice day.

You have a good point here. Will ask our developer to change the infinite scroll trigger point at the end of the products wrapper.

    Thanks for reply.

    More information for your referance:

1# Usually, there are widgets on most site including sidebas, footer widgets, like Login form, tags, categories, social links, contact info…etc, please check the screenshot:

    https://prnt.sc/tk3yjj

2# In mobile mode, the above widgets will usually always below the content page, INCLUDING filter widget, please check the screenshot to understand what I mean:

    https://prnt.sc/tk409q

In this case, the products will never be loaded when user scroll to the end of products because all of widgets are quite long for Mobile mode and the users will confused by why the products are not be loaded, since we usually will stop scroll down when we scrolling to the end of page content.

    Conclusion:

This issue is even a much big issue for mobile mobile.

Thanks and have a nice day.

    Hi,

We’ve added the infinite scroll trigger option. You can enter the trigger point which can load products sooner.
