    Hi,

I have installed the plugin on the Basel theme and the plugin itself works fine, but there are conflicts with the Theme and every time I activate it, it overwrites the customized settings.

Just tried on website test and it behaves the same.

    Can we solve it somehow?

    Thank you in advance

    Hello,

What do you mean by “it overwrites the customized settings.”

    As explained in the FAQ:

What happens to my theme default gallery display?
SVI replaces your default theme settings/options for the image & thumbnails area so don’t expect to use any of your theme features for this area.
Otherwise SVI wouldn’t be able to do the magic. Each theme has is own structure and wouldn’t be feasible to create all the available layouts combinations on the same plugin so SVI just had to build is own layout.

    Cheers,
    David

    Hi David,
    The gallery works fine.
I mean… The Theme has some css-customized settings, ex. link colors, header colors and logos. It is a css.
When I activate the plugin, just only with this plugin, the css of customizable settings disappears. Seems that a new inline css style override this and the link colors etc change.

    Thank you

Don’t quite understand. All my styles are targeted do my elements, expect the slider that has is own styles but it also target’s the slider.

Contact me via my site, share screenshoots so that I can better understand what you are referring to.

    Cheers,
    David
