I have identified an apparent conflict with the plugin “Simple Custom CSS & JS”.

Activating this plugin (LH) disables the “Publish” box on the edit screen of the other plugin therefore snippet changes cannot be saved.

  • The “submitdiv” metabox is being removed for all the “wp_statuses_get_supported_post_types” custom post types, including the “custom-css-js” post type used by the Simple Custom CSS & JS plugin.

We’ll add a filter call on our side to remove the “custom-css-js” post types from the “wp_statuses_get_supported_post_types” filter within the next plugin release (3.42). That will solve the conflict with the missing “Publish” button.

I am resolving this for good order.
I’m unclear on the outcome but not much can be done from my end regardless

And on principle the other plugin could/probably should patch the issue anyway (maybe they are, as I said I’m unclear)

Note I will still monitor the thread and reopen if appropriate.
